A very basic and quick protein to make in a pinch.
16 oz extra firm Organic tofu
Extra virgin olive oil
BBQ seasoning (I use “Grippos” which is a Cincinnati based bbq chain)
Nutritional yeast seasoning
Montgomery Inn rib sauce (any bbq or rib marinade could work)
Fill stovetop pan with a serving of olive oil
Crush tofu brick into small scramble style pieces
Apply a generous amount of nutritional yeast to tofu, season with bbq seasoning to taste.
Set burner to high until crisp, flip and repeat previous step.
Once plated drizzle the tofu with marinade. Garnish with veggies of preference.
